Great news Aquaman fans – it appears the superhero sequel has officially finally begun pre-production, with director James Wan revealing the title of the film.
Aquaman 2 will see the return of Jason Momoa as the titular deep-sea King in the DC comics sequel, in what appears to be called Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom courtesy of the director’s latest Instagram post.
With the new title and graphics revealed as part of the production meeting, the director also confirmed “The tide is rising” in the posts caption.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is scheduled to hit cinemas on December 16, 2022.
