Deadpool is one of the most anticipated films of 2016, but it’s pretty hard to forget the characters disappointing first appearance in X-Men’s Wolverine. So will Ryan Reynold’s second outing as the merc with a mouth redeem the character?
In an interview with Total Film, Reynolds promises Deadpool will live up to comic book fan’s expectations, “There’s something very proprietal and very personal about it for me,” said Ryan Reynolds. “I know what I can put on screen, and I know what I’ve put on screen is something that would make any fanboy proud.”
“All anyone cares about in this process is making Deadpool work as much for the fanboys as it does for the uninitiated,” adds Reynolds. “Whether you’re a die hard fan or a newbie, you’re not going to want to miss this: I can’t wait to unleash it. We’re so, so psyched. You’re definitely going to be happy, that much I can promise…”
Deadpool stars Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Gina Carano, Ed Skrein, Taylor Hickson, T.J Miller, Rachel Sheen and Stan Lee. The film will hit cinemas on February 12th 2016.
