He’s been fighting and training to bring the role to the big screen for years now, but we FINALLY have the first look at Dwayne Johnson suited up as Black Adam.
Revealed at DC Fandome, DC has unveiled a short behind-the-scenes look at the film, featuring interviews with cast members including Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman and finally Johnson in the hugely detailed suit.
The short clip features a number of explorers in what looks to be an ancient tomb, awakening a hooded Black Adam who gruesomely dispatches one of the party.
Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, Black Adam stars Aldis Hodge (Invisible Man) as Hawkman; Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Fate; Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher; Sarah Shahi as Isis; and Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone. And, yes, the movie does indeed have a release date, as previously reported: Black Adam is set to arrive July 29, 2022.
