After what feels like months, the brand new Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker trailer finally debuted Monday night US/Tuesday morning UK time – and I’m so excited!
The trailer, which dropped during the Monday Night Football game between the New England Patriots and the New York Jets, is packed full of exciting new footage – teasing an epic final chapter of the sage.
Interestingly, it looks like Rey and villain Kylo Ren teams up in this trailer. It ends with a touching moment between the new group and 3-CPO, with the trailer rounding off with Luke’s voice echoing, “The Force will be with you,” followed with Leia saying “Always.” Sniff!

The film is set for a 20th December release.
