Andrew Garfield shuts down those ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Rumours

With a number of actors reprising their roles in the upcoming third instalment of Spider-Man, including Jamie Foxx and Alfred Molina, there’s been a number of rumours speculating whether the two previous Spidey actors (Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield) will also return.

Well according to a new interview with the British actor, it appears that he has yet to get the call up to the Sony and Marvel production.

Speaking to Josh Horowitz for his Happy Sad Confused podcast, Garfield quickly shut down those rumours, stating: “There isn’t anything to ruin, bro! I had to quickly cut you off. There’s nothing to ruin.”

It’s so crazy. Dude, it’s f***ing hilarious to me. I do have this Twitter account and I see how often Spider-Man is trending and it’s people freaking out about a thing. I wish I could be able to speak to everyone and just say, ‘I recommend that you chill

“I feel like, haven’t I just said that? I did not get a call. I would’ve gotten a call by now, that’s all I’m saying. I don’t want to ruin anything. Maybe they’re going to call me?

Does anyone else think he was a little too quick to deny any involvement with a possible return? Yes he might not have had a phone call, but he didn’t mention anything about an email or message…
