Prime Video has exclusively revealed the thrilling 11-minute opening scene for the upcoming third season of The Wheel of Time on the streaming platform and YouTube, which was unveiled at the end of the third episode of the Season Three premiere of Reacher.
The explosive 11-minute opening scene of The Wheel of Time’s new season features a dynamic magical showdown between good and evil. The Sorceresses who have secretly sworn themselves to the Dark One shockingly reveal themselves, and initiate a vicious and bloody battle that will forever change the fate of the world.
Based on fan-favorite fourth book of Jordan’s series, “The Shadow Rising”, season three will explore Tar Valon along with new regions and cities across the fictional continent of the Westlands, including the vast deserts of the Aiel Waste, the intoxicating and dangerous port city of Tanchico, and the forbidden and fog-shrouded ancient city of Rhuidean.
The Wheel of Time stars acclaimed actors such as Rosamund Pike (Saltburn, Gone Girl) as Moiraine Damodred, Daniel Henney (Criminal Minds) as al’Lan Mandragoran, Josha Stradowski (Gran Turismo) as Rand al’Thor, Zoë Robins (Power Rangers Ninja Steel) as Nynaeve al’Meara, Madeleine Madden (Dora and the Lost City of Gold) as Egwene al’Vere, Marcus Rutherford (Obey) as Perrin Aybara, Dónal Finn (Rogue Heroes) as Mat Cauthon, Ceara Coveney (Young Wallander) as Elayne Trakand and Sophie Okonedo (Hotel Rwanda, Slow Horses) as Siuan Sanche.
The Wheel of Time, which will premiere globally on Prime Video on 13th March, 2025, is based on Robert Jordan’s best-selling and epic fantasy book series of the same name.
