Remy Hii joins the cast of ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’

Crazy Rich Asians and Marco Polo star Remy Hii is set to join the sequel Spider-Man: Far From Home in an undisclosed role.

This casting announcement follows the news that Marvel veterans Samuel L. Jackson and Cobie Smulders, who play Nick Fury and Maria Hill, are set to also join the sequel. Jake Gyllenhaal, Numan Acar, and JB Smoove are also reported to join the cast as new characters to the film.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has confirmed that the 2019 sequel, Spider-Man: Far From Home, will see Peter Parker and friends on a summer vacation to Europe following the aftermath of Avengers 4.

Remy was born and raised in Australia and is of Chinese, Malaysian and English nationality.

Spider-Man: Far From Home will be directed by Jon Watts and written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, returning from Spider-Man: Homecoming. The movie is set for release on July 5 2019.
