Warner Bros. has released the final trailer for sequel Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and it’s nearly a whopping two and a half minutes long, jam packed with links to the Harry Potter universe and a very surprising reveal…
The film is the second of a planned five films in the prequel/spinoff series directed by David Yates and scripted by J.K. Rowling herself! Eddie Redmayne is back as Newt Scamander and is joined by Fantastic Beasts cast mates Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol and Dan Fogler. The film will also see the return of Johnny Depp as the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald whilst introducing Jude Law as a younger version of Dumbledore.

In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is directed by David Yates and stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, with Jude Law and Johnny Depp.
The film is set for release on November 16, 2018 in 2D, 3D and IMAX in select cinemas.
